Archive for November, 2008

Yesterday I went out to purchase some new jeans… and holy crap, i’m down a size.  This is quite the triumph too.  It’s not like i was trying to squeeze my ass into these too, i’m comfortably one size down, and i still require a belt to hold them up a little.

I’m so happy!

I’ve been working out since August 25th, but i took a hiatus from September 23rd to November 11th while i was on holidays and traveling.  But since the 11th of November i’ve been going 6 days a week.

In addition to exercise, i’ve also changed my diet quite drastically.  I’ve cut out a lot of sugary drinks, including pop and most juice.  I drink a lot of water and i eat a lot of vegetables.  My daily diet consists of two eggs for breakfast, some yogurt, plenty of vegetables with some lean meat for lunch and dinner is basically the same, vegetables and chicken, steak, or fish.  I’ve been doing well for myself.  Since August I’ve been maintaining my eating habits.

I think i’m doing really well for myself.  I just have to stay motivated and keep at it.

I purchased a gym memebership for a year, so i want to commit a whole year to getting where i want to be and have a healthier lifestyle.   I figure if i can do it for a whole year, it will just become routine for me, and i’ll continue exercising on a regular basis as a part of my daily life.

At this point in time, since weigh-in back in August, i’ve lost almost 20 pounds and i think i’ve gained some lean muscle mass.  I’m not sure how much muscle mass i’ve gained, but i know there has been an increase in my weight training performance.

My car is officially stored for the winter… yah maybe a few weeks late, but nonetheless stored.

There was no snow on the main roads, and most of the roads were dry, so this last weekend was probably the best and last opportunity i’ll have to finally get this over with.

After going to the gym i immediately went over to my parents’ house.  The front driver’s side tire was flat, so i fired up the air compressor and filled it up.  My summer wheels were still on the car so having no snow on the ground was a good thing.  I filled the tire up and i drove down to gas up the car, topped it up and then went for a wand wash.  Since it was such a nice day out, there were wuite a few people washing their cars too.

Eventually i got in there and spent about $12 on washing it, I spent my time making sure it was well washed.  Everything was cleaned and wiped down, and i drove home slowly avoiding wet spots and snow.  I think i drove 40km/h most of the way.  I didn’t want to kick up any dirt.

Finally i got back to my parents’ house and i changed all four summer wheels and threw on the winter wheels.  I understand that no one will be driving the car, but I didn’t want the car sitting there with the summer wheels on and possibly causing flat spots or tarnishing the lip of the wheels.

Once i got the car in place on the corner of the driveway, i disconnected the battery and tried to remove it but i couldn’t get one of the bolts off so it’s staying in the car for the winter.  I’ll have to charge it up in the spring before i’ll be able to drive it though.  I put the car cover on it and now it’s ready for the 5 month deep freeze.

Last weekend i went clubbing and ran into this guy on the dancefloor:

HAHAHA… this guy is so epic!!

So it’s been snowing and warming up here and then the temperature has been dropping to freezing point and everything is iced over.  It’s hard to walk on the ice.  I messed up my ankle and i’ve been trying to heal it for 2 weeks now.  It hasn’t been 100% since Tokyo.

When i walk around outisde it’s slippery and i slip a little and i use my bad ankle to catch myself and then it causes more pain, and i feel like it’s taking forever to heal.  Like taking two steps forward and one step back.  It’s fucked up.  I can’t walk normal and my ankle is not healing fast enough.  I ran out of pain killers and anti-inflammatory medication.  So i have to deal with it now.

I hate this ice and snow bullshit.

so i guess i need to write on this thing… it’s been a while, two weeks almost?

Well Halloween was fun.  Went out to the Exchange Event Centre for Thriller.  Had a bit too much to drink, in fact i was drunk before i even reached the doors.  I think it’s time to slow down on the alcohol ingestion.

Me and zucru came dressed as the Jabbawockeez, all of us wore the same outfit, same shirt, same hat, gloves and mask.  We were bay far the most coordinated group!  HAHAHahaha…. there were soem other Jabbawockeez there but none of them had a crew like us.  there were at least 7 of us dressed as the Jabbawockeez.

Photo….

And well that’s all that happened last weekend… and i forgot my camera so i didn’t get any photos, so i have to wait till other people get theirs online…. soonly though.

I’ve also decided that i’m going to get back into drawing.  And begin to develop my own style which i lost long ago.  Gonna get back to pencils and paper.

If i ever complete anything i will have it up here… who knows when that will happen.

What else…. I saw Pride and Prejudice at the MTC this past Monday…. and I truly liked it.  The following night i watched the movie with Keira Knightley, and i liked that one too.  And then on Wednesday I watched Sense and Sensibility for the first time… and yes, i liked that one too.  I’m such a weirdo!

I had this conversation with my good friend the other day, and i told her i’m not your average guy, i like theatre, i don’t mind chick flicks, i enjoy musicals and Grease is one of my favorite movies.  How odd… all this and i’m not gay… yes i know that for a fact.  I like boobies more than i like cock.  LOL

I blame it on my sister.  It was her that watched all this sort of stuff while i was growing up and i ended up liking a lot of the same things she did.  So that’s probably why i have such odd interests when it comes to the average guy.  I guess i do like some guy stuff.  I like guns and violence…. and i really enjoy watching war movies… so maybe it’s just an odd combination of tastes for me.

Well anyways, this weekend i’ve got some partying to do, and i won’t forget the camera this time.

More photos will be up in the weekend warriors gallery as soon as i get them.
